Every third Monday, Lakes Region Art Association members gather for our lively ArtTalk presentation — but first comes the exciting Artist of the Month competition.

Members submit one piece for a friendly judged contest, with the winner’s work proudly displayed and available for sale for the entire month in prime local spots like banks, libraries, and welcoming partner businesses across the Lakes Region.

Ready to join the fun and see your art on display? Become a member — we’d love to welcome you!

These exceptional artworks will grace Lakes Region venues through the third week of October 2026.

First Place Winner – Martha Aucoin

Congratulations to Martha, our September standout! Normally, the Artist of the Month winner showcases their work at Annies' Cafe & Catering in Laconia, NH. This month, Martha gave this multiple art venue to Rachel Charette, a relatively new member of the association. Because of this generous trade, Rachel now has the special privilege of showcasing multiple pieces of her captivating work at the charming Annie’s Cafe & Catering in Laconia, NH. Swing by for their mouthwatering homemade soups, creative sandwiches, fresh salads, and coffee—then linger a little longer to soak in Martha's art over a delicious meal. It's the perfect spot to treat yourself and discover something beautiful!
