Watercolor for Beginners

Ready to explore the vibrant world of watercolor? Join juried artist Stephanie C. McQuade for a five-week, hands-on course at the Lakes Region Art Gallery in Tilton, NH.
Designed for absolute beginners and budding artists, this in-person class offers step-by-step guidance in a welcoming, fun, supportive environment. Whether you’re starting a new hobby, building skills, or just enjoying a creative outing, this class is the perfect place to begin.
Watercolor Workshop

Watercolor Workshops 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month
Workshops include beginner to experienced artists. Join our fun workshops where you experience learning techniques and creating your style with confidence. Bring your pigments and brushes. Pat supplies the paper.
Fee is: $45 per workshop.
All workshops are 1 pm - 3 pm.

Watercolor Workout
with Stephanie McQuade
Watercolor Workout is a fun, supportive 5-week practice class designed specifically for painters who’ve completed a beginner watercolor course (or done lots of online tutorials) but aren’t quite ready to jump into intermediate level work. This “workout” focuses on building confidence and strengthening skills through guided exercises, live demonstrations, and plenty of painting time with real-time feedback from the instructor. Whether you want to keep the momentum going or finally have someone right there to answer questions as you paint, this class bridges the gap perfectly. Sessions are on Mondays at 1:00 pm starting August 3—come get your watercolor muscles in shape!
