Artist of the Month - July 2025
LRAA members have the opportunity to enter a piece of artwork into the Artist of the Month Program at each monthly Member Meeting. Winners are able to display and sell a single work for a month in various public venues throughout the Lakes Region in participating Banks and Libraries or Local Businesses.

The Winning Artists' artwork will be on display in locations in the Lakes Region through the third week of August.
Sherwood Frazier, this month’s First Place winner has the distinct honor of displaying several pieces of his artwork at Annie’s Cafe & Catering in Laconia, NH. Chill out with some scrumptious homemade soup and sandwiches and enjoy the art while you eat!
The art pieces for the Honorable Mention artist will be on display through the third week in June in the following locations:

Our Mission
The mission of the Lakes Region Art Association is to enhance the ability of its members to create art and to further the appreciation of art in the Lakes Region area by the promotion, education, sale, and display of the visual fine arts. The Association is a non-profit educational and cultural organization located in the Tanger Outlets, Suite 300 in Tilton, New Hampshire.

Watercolor Workshop
with Pat Edsall
Watercolor Workshops 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month
Class Dates:
July 9th & 23rd
August 13th & 27th
Workshops include beginner to experienced artists. Join our fun workshops where you experience learning techniques and creating your style with confidence. Bring your pigments and brushes. Pat supplies the paper. Fee is: $40. per workshop.
All workshops are 1 pm - 3 pm.

Pencil Drawing and Painting in acrylics will be the key subjects with some Art History taught as well.
Cost is $30 per 2 hour session which includes ALL art materials.
This class is for very serious art students ages 12 to 80.

Designed for absolute beginners and budding artists, this in-person class offers step-by-step guidance in a welcoming, fun, supportive environment. Whether you’re starting a new hobby, building skills, or just enjoying a creative outing, this class is the perfect place to begin.

Designed for students with basic watercolor experience, this class focuses on expanding techniques, exploring color and composition, and developing your personal style through guided and independent projects—all in a supportive, fun, encouraging setting.
