Artist of the Month - April 2026
Celebrating the Best of Lakes Region Creativity!
LRAA members, this is your moment to shine! At every monthly Member Meeting, you can submit one stunning piece for our Artist of the Month competition—judged right before the always-inspiring ArtTalk presentation. Winners earn the thrill of seeing their work proudly displayed (and available for sale!) for a full month across prime public spots in the Lakes Region, including welcoming banks, libraries, and local businesses that generously partner with us.

Congratulations to Martha, our April standout! She has the special privilege of showcasing multiple pieces of her captivating work at the charming Annie’s Cafe & Catering in Laconia, NH. Swing by for their mouthwatering homemade soups, creative sandwiches, fresh salads, and coffee—then linger a little longer to soak in Martha's art over a delicious meal. It's the perfect spot to treat yourself and discover something beautiful!

All Classes and Workshops are held in the Lake Region Art Gallery
located in the Tanger Outlets, 120 Laconia Rd, Tilton, NH 03276.
Young at Art
with Tom Hitchcock
Saturdays 10am to noon
April 11th, 18th & 25th
May 9th, 16th & 23rd
Pencil Drawing and Painting in acrylics will be the key subjects with some Art History taught as well.
Cost is $30 per 2 hour session which includes ALL art materials.
This class is for very serious art students ages 12 to 80.

Watercolor Workshop
with Pat Edsall
Watercolor Workshops 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month
Class Dates:
April 8th & 22nd
May 6th & 27th
June 10th & 24th
Workshops include beginner to experienced artists. Join our fun workshops where you experience learning techniques and creating your style with confidence. Bring your pigments and brushes. Pat supplies the paper. Fee is: $45 per workshop.
All workshops are 1 pm - 3 pm.
